November 08′ magazine covers

November 4, 2008

Vogue Italia

Let the Germans take charge. This is Toni Garrn’s second Vogue cover (her first—German Vogue earlier this year) and Katrin’s first. You can see their editorial here. It is amazing, there is always an inspiration or a theme within the VI editorials which have so much depth just within that few pages. Plus Toni and Katrin simply worked their best expressions to convey the mood.

Vogue Paris

Vanessa Paradis photographed by none other than Mert & Marcus. This cover is really striking and I particularly love the overdose of red.

Vogue US

Reese Witherspoon in Nina Ricci. The cover story is about her as the muse of Olivier Theyskens.

BAZAAR US have the same theme of red, blue and white on their covers. It is an important month in the political world and they must be reflecting that on the covers, not so much in the editorials though.

Vogue UK

Brit trio— Jourdan Dunn, Eden Clark and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

I strongly feel that Jourdan deserves to have her own UK Vogue cover soon, that will surely happen someday, isn’t it?

As for Eden Clark, she will be taking over from Rosie as the face of Burberry Spring 09′ alongside Lily Donaldson. Eden doesn’t really have an impressive runway record but her folks back home seemed to be supporting her really well.

Vogue Germany

Eva Herzigova

Vogue España

Julia Stegner…

Spanish Vogue’s covers are beginning to look more and more like US Vogue’s kind of outdoors-as-backdrop shot.

Vogue China

Agyness Deyn for the British rocks issue. Check out my review of it here.

Vogue Nippon

Freja Beha Erichsen

Vogue Korea

The Chanel Fall 08′ couture on Iekeliene Stange is stunning..

Vogue Russia

Alana Zimmer on her first Vogue cover

Vogue Australia

Catherine McNeil. She was missing for the later part of the Spring 09 shows but on the editorial trail, she seems to be already back on track…

Vogue Brasil

Flávia de Oliveira has a killer catwalk, but this season she only appeared in 6 shows…

Vogue Mexico

Caroline Winberg

Numéro

Naomi Campbell.

I have posted about her in that same pair of Yves Saint Laurent pants for four times.

Mispelled, it’s Flávia de Oliveira. And the Vogue Korea cover is absolutely delicious.
