Vogue August The Age Issue editorial review

July 13, 2009

‘No limits’
Raquel Zimmermann ph by David Sims.

LOVE her new platinum blonde hair.

‘She’s come undone’
Karlie Kloss ph by Steven Klein

‘Portrait of a dress’
Karlie Kloss ph by Norman Jean Roy

‘Stretch of the imagination’
Anna Jagodzinska ph by Raymond Meier

Apparently, there is this ‘Karlie invasion’ at Vogue US, she’s been appearing in almost every issue for the past few months.

For August, the editorial content is heavily focused on the age issue and less models are featured. But the stories on different women at different ages are an interesting read. Plus, Jane (and her mum) of also have a spread in this issue.

isn’t it a little hypocritical to have an ‘age’ issue, and then have editorials full of twenty-something models?

Vogue does the same thing everymonth regarding their topic or theme. always the same models, same photographers. they already had the shape issue with all thin models so go figure.

    ugh raquel,Anna j and karlie…BORING!

if Vogue wants credibility they need to look into some interesting models not the same old bland girls.

    Love Karlie Kloss!

It still amazes me how you can get a hold of US Vogue in Singapore before we do here in the US.
