Drama

Alexander McQueen Fall 09′

McQueen is great when he does torture with a touch of romanticism. This season, it’s just pure torture. It is hard to like a collection when you know that he had done something more beautiful than this before, many times.

Meanwhile, wednesday, Paris Day  7, is high on drama

At Hermés, an all aviator theme, the stage set is breath-taking, looks like straight out of a movie production.

and Galliano is back. This is him, finally.

FRANCE-FASHION/

According to some show goers, the ‘toxic’ stage effects were disturbing to the the front row, which probably distracted them to the collection. Oh no…

It was a dramatic day indeed.
McQueen gave a pathetic excuse of a collection. He must been lacking in inspiration and just literally copied the late leigh Bowery.Bowery’s family should sue for copyright infringements.Sadly Leigh had never copyrighted his persona.
How sad it was to see retired supermodel Tatiana Patitz fall 3 times on the Hermés runway. She must really be out of touch at her horse ranch in Malibu.
And yeah the poor front rowers at Galliano!Hamish Bowels left before the end.Great collection though.

agree on leigh bowery!!!! shame, shame, shame. though mcqueen wasn’t able to let us forget about leigh bowery! he can suck that one up!!!
it’s not really tatjana patitz fault she’s “out of touch” it are the designers who are! shoes are made for walking, for dancing, for looking gorgeous and sexy, not to struggle and stumble around on. i would rather be on my horse ranch in malibu that be back on the catwalk as a relic which seems the flavour of fashion this last seasons.
