Bring me BAZAAR, anytime
I am dropping by the Kinokuniya bookstore tomorrow to get my weekly fash mag fix and this time round, I think I am going to get BAZAAR over Vogue. Is it just me or that their editorials are getting better? I am not talking about that Tyra Banks as Michelle Obama shoot, the rest of this issue’s editorials have got really great styling and casting. Also, another good reason to skip Vogue is probably because I don’t wanna buy 674 pages of ads.
WHY IS THIS ISSUE OF BAZAAR A MUST-BUY?
‘What’s Chic Now’ by Karl Lagerfeld
I love the casting, Stam is looking like a real standout while Hilary is just so suited for this kinda editorial. Plus, how often do you see Karl coming up with something so desirably luxurious like this?
Freja does Cleopatra
If you are almost sick of Freja’s many many androgynous editorials, now see her being all glam up, and smiling. I can hardly believe this is her.
Designer’s halloween came early
Some top names in the industry voiced their fantasies and they made it happened. Karl says ”Believe it or not, I love rap.” How surprising huh. And there are also Elbaz as a Hollywood producer with James Bond flair, Cavalli went Gone with the Wind as Rhett Butler, Facchinetti dressed up as Pierrot, Versace being her own princess in a fairytale…
Arlenis Sosa photographed by Greg Kadel
Finally, some work from Arlenis besides all the talk about her becoming the new face of Lancome.
Are you sold?
And lastly, I would like to show you this month’s BAZAAR Singapore’s cover: Danielle Graham in Celine
