Gisele’s still making the most moolah

Forbes’ latest ‘World’s Top-Earning Models’ list is out, and Gisele is on the top again, raking in $35million last year. Apparently, most of her earnings come from her very successful Ipanema sandals line.

Meanwhile, Doutzen Kroes made the biggest jump with $6million, thanks to her lucrative LoReal contract, and Alessandra Ambrosio, Shalom Harlow and Jessica Stam have disappeared from the list.
Newcomers are Miranda Kerr, Isabeli Fontana, Selita Ebanks and Valentina Zelyaeva.

Actually, for Gisele and Heidi, I don’t really consider them as models because they don’t do professional modelling but get all their earnings from their business instead. On last check, Gisele hasn’t been booked for any major Fall 08′ ad campaign, same with Kate Moss. Their absence is obvious because currently, there is this 90s’ models comeback thing, with Claudia, Linda, Eva and Naomi fronting coveted ad space. Has the industry finally lost interest in them?

My friend told me ipanema sandals are not comfy. I can’t tell for sure because I don’t own a pair.

Yeah for Gisele. She is probably the most well rounded models around – beautiful face and awesome body, great in front of the camera and lots of famous boyfriends.

Liya is this season’s face for Cartier.
