From 6267 to Ferré

Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi                   6267 Fall 08′

So Lars Nilsson left a little too quick (”he steered away from the designer’s aesthetic and didn’t bond with the design teams”) and I was doubting that Gianfranco Ferré is going to become another troubled house (hello Chloé and Ungaro) with multiple short-term creative directors. But now, as the they have tapped the 6267 duo Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi, ex-Malo and MaxMara, as the new creative force of the brand, I guess all the worries are settled. I hope they will last long.

I think they’re a great choice and will adapt well into Ferré’s signature architectural style.I would have also made the offer to Ralph Rucci or Sophia Kokosalakis.
