Couture fashion week wrap up

They set up a giant blue ribbon for Chanel’s SS08 show and a wooden 75-foot tall jacket for the couture. So what’s up for Fall 08′? A giant quilted bag?

Jean Paul Gaultier’s vision of mermaids and corals is simply amazing. I really like the theme. It is so different, so unexpected and so breath-takingly beautiful.

    Personally I thought it was vulgar and garish.And the ballerina pumps the models wore didn’t do justice to the outfits.Made the models walk ridiculous.

    The main one is a mysterious version of Kate Bush’s 80s hit ‘Running up that hill’.I think.
