Spring/Summer 08′ ad campaigns

December 26, 2007

Rolling out the first batch of the latest ad saga…

Louis Vuitton

models: Stephanie Seymour, Eva Herzigova, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Angela Lindvall, Natalia Vodianova

Photobucket

These reminds me of the previous SS06 ads with Gisele but whatever, we hardly get to see one bunch of legendary supermodels in the same ad. Do you like Louis Vuitton with so much colours?

Valentino

models: Shalom Harlow, Amber Valletta, Raquel Zimmermann, Anja Rubik

Photobucket

What a surprise… and what a waste to hide their faces. This is totally unexpected.

Roberto Cavalli

models: Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy, Eva Herzigova

Photobucket

I thought these are Diesel ads at first glance.

Oscar de la Renta

models: Anja Rubik, Magdelena Fracowiak

Photobucket

After two seasons of Trentini, the two Polish models replace her as the new ODLR girls, posing as shoppers leaving a store.

Lanvin

model: Olga Sherer

Photobucket

Wow… it looks like a painting. You can always count on to Steven Meisel to produce something as amazing as this.

Alessandro Dell’Acqua

model: Magdelena Fracowiak

Photobucket

The collection is very ‘Japanese’ but the ads came out very sweet and romantic. Beautiful.

Gianfranco Ferre

model: Freja Beha Erichsen

Photobucket

Blumarine

model: Suvi Koponen

Photobucket

Longchamp

model: Kate Moss

Photobucket

I think this is the best Longchamp ad Kate’s ever shot. She looks urban cool.

MaxMara

model: Lily Donaldson

Photobucket

Hugo Boss

model: Catherine McNeil, Mathias Lauridsen

Photobucket

I love the contrasting background. I can never think of pairing ‘holiday’ with ‘office’.

Lacoste

models: Shannan Click, Behati Prinsloo, Heather Marks

Photobucket

I wonder how many times did the models jump to get the poses right!

Escada

model: Christy Turlington

Photobucket

Marc Jacobs

model: Harmony Korine

Photobucket

I don’t know who else exactly is going to front the campaign but I can’t wait to see more.

Donna Karan

model: Kate Moss

Photobucket

SportMax

model: Ali Michael

WOW! The Lanvin definitely exceeds expectations! I thought it would be a tough collection since the looks were so classic. LV looks boring, but I suppose they need to please large masses.

I can’t believe how many campaigns Kate got! Besides the ones you listed (Cavalli, Longchamp, Donna Karan), she’s also the face of YSL.

I agree with sophie, Kate needs to get a break and give other models a chance. But I am for some reason actually liking the LV ads. Something different than Scarlett who I liked her ads but always though of needing a fresh face for LV.
