I am a 17 year-old from Hong Kong, now based in Singapore and I just started going through an Apparel design & merchandising course.
I have a strong passion for fashion and I would love to have my own boutique one day or be a stylist

What’s the story behind the name of your blog?
I remember there was a political campaign for youth in the US sometime ago call ‘Rock The Vote’ so I guess ‘Rock.The.Trend.’ sounds rather unique and it sets a bold statement for this blog.
Why did you start blogging in the first place?
I would like to share my love for fashion with others who are passionate about it too.
What has been your best blogging experience? What about the worst?
The best is interacting with all these amazing people in the fashion blogosphere that inspires me. I also love reading all the comments and feedbacks that I receive—– they make me feel that what I’m doing is all worth the hardwork that I put in.
The worst is having to go on hiatus when I have to be away from home. I will miss blogging.
What do you think will happen to your blog in 2008?

You have very sophisticated taste for a seventeen year old. I am a Los Angeles based menswear designer with my own company. Drop me a line if you want to chat about the fashion business. I do private label manufacturing for a couple of womenswear companies too.
Rather than owning a boutique, I think you should consider a career in fashion journalism or marketing.
