Remember the Gemma-Sasha resemblance? Now I’ve spotted another two pairs of ‘twins’ emerging in the modelling scene.

Tanya Dziahileva and Yasmina Muratovich

This is newbie Yasmina Muratovich from Russia, who burst into the scene by walking the Prada SS08 show. I swear I really didn’t put Tanya’s picture as hers on the left. Check out her supermodels.nl hompage.

Ok Tanya Dziahileva, this one needs no introduction. Can’t believe she’s only 16 and has been around since the 05′ seasons. She did a record 73 shows for SS08′.

Daiane Conterato and Carolina Pantoliano

They are both from BraziL and the only thing that makes it easy to seperate them apart is… their eyecolours. Of course Daiane has been in the scene longer (she was a Prada FW0607 breakout star) but ever since the arrival of Carolina, they are always being cast in the same shows together…

I don’t know what’s the appeal but every time I walk pass a Topshop store (we have 7 here in Singapore), I had to get in. I am still not at the age where I can go on shopping sprees and therefore, Topshop’s chic but affordable clothings & accessories are my top faves. I also remember the times when me and my friends would just hop in and try on a lot of clothes for fun.

I have been lusting after platforms with chunky thick wooden heel for a very long time and I had never really thought about getting it in… Topshop! I like everything about this, from the colour to the shape to the leather. The thing is, I must master the art of walking in high heels as I have been such a sneakers and flats kind of girl.

When Kate Moss for Topshop’s latest collection comes out on November 8, I’m going to get this tulle mini dress. It’s so sophisticated, sexy and edgy I think it’s fab for party or my upcoming prom!

We all love clothes by Chloe but how about the scent? After more than 10 years, the french fashion house is launching a new Chloé fragrance that promised to be a classic signature scent.

”…It features a bouquet of powdered florals composed of peony, lychée and freesia. Notes of rose, magnolia and lily of the valley make up the heart over an amber and cedar wood base.”

Chloe Sevigny, Anja Rubik and Clemence Poesy (remember her in Harry Potter 4?) are chosen as the spokesmodels with “each to represent a different facet of the Chloé woman: romantic; edgy, and sexy and sensual”

I’m really into boots right now. I didn’t use to like them as I thought they make my legs look short or something. Now, with tights, paired with minis, they are on-trend and stylish. While I couldn’t get a pair yet (no time for shopping!), I actually revamped my converse sneakers into this (oh well, it doesn’t look very good). In fact, on the runways of Fall 07′, many designers have given this very popular shoewear a modern twist by adding womanly high heel, patent details and the very adorable lace-ups. Since fashion is into the ’strong woman’ look right now, I guess everybody will literally ‘stomp down the streets in chunky boots’.

Sasha’s still the star of the Prada, Miu Miu shows… I’m keeping my fingers cross that she’ll be the only-girl in the upcoming Prada campaign.

The babyfaced Anabela got her big break making her debut last season at the Prada show and look where’s she now. I remember her as the young ad campaign queen for fronting Nina Ricci and BALENCIAGA.

13. Sheila Marquez

Other than Marina Perez, it’s really rare to see a spanish catwalk model on the runways. But with shows like Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and Chanel, this one looks promising.

12. Diana Moldovan

Diana topped last season’s rankings with 79 shows (!) but even if there’s a slight drop, she still boasts a whopping 61. Not bad for a girl on her second season.

11. Magdalena Frackowiak

I really admire the angular talent of her face… it’s like… a square. This season, she closed a lot of shows namely Viktor&Rolf, Balenciaga and more.

10. Suvi Koponen

She was really popular in New York and Milan. I still find her walk a bit stiff.

9. Flavia de Oliveria

This Brazilian belle who broke into the scene by opening Yves Saint Laurent’s SS06 show is still in-demand on the runways.

After much criticism of her being too skinny, she put on little more weight and the result is: more shows!

The strangely-chic Iekeline is said to be one of the most unique-looking models around. Guess her appeal still works.

She rocked her first couture shows and this darling newbie is taking a stand as one of the most sought-after models around. You will be seeing a lot more of her!

5. Alana Zimmer

This canadian hottie is marching through her third season, and still doing good, but she is super underrated in the editorial scene.
I read an interview of her and noted that during last show season, a pin from a hastily altered outfit ran up her leg while she’s on the runway, she bleeded badly but still finished the catwalk. How professional is that.

It’s really interesting to know that she opened only 1 minor show out of the 72 she walked!
