It’s been long since there is a red carpet event to blog about and now ta-dah!
Even though stars & celebs don’t really dressed up in high fashion but laid-back glamour for the Teen Choice Awards, I still like to see how they rock their mini dresses and casual style.

Bold and brightly coloured frocks are ‘the thing’ for Jessica Alba, Emmy Rossum and Lauren Conrad. Since it’s all about teenagers, these playful summer dresses can sure mix with the youthful energy around. Jessica Alba looks good in her yellow Yigal Azrouel dress , but the white platform heels are blah. I like Emmy Rossum’s one shoulder chiffon Catherine Malandrino dress a lot, from the colours to the silhouette… it looks adorable on her. On the other hand, Lauren’s dull bubble dress (she designed it) is very last season.

Satin! Rapper Eve, American Idol #6 Jordin Sparks and ‘High School Muscial’ babe Vanessa Hudgens all went for this sexy grown-up look with shimmery gowns & tops to catch the photog’s attention. Eve looks great in the Yves Saint Laurent jumpsuit, Jordin could have gotten a better hairstyle while Vanessa shouldn’t let the gown swallow her petite figure! Come on, show some legs like what others do!

I really like the understated glamour that Fergie ( in Moschino Cheap & Chic), Kelly Clarkson (in BCBG) and Sophie Bush ( in Hervé Légér )have shown in their red carpet get-up. Proves that a simple tube dress with the right heels and hair is enough.

Transformers starlet Megan Fox’s grey tunic+ black leggings ensemble is so boring! I have seen how gorgeous she was at her movie premieres so this is definitely disappointing. I have a problem with Avril Lavigne’s rock-chick style, but I just don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s the sneakers. She’s already short and they make her look shorter. Hilary Duff’s metallic Corey Lynn Calter dress looks great actually, but she dyed her hair back to blonde and it seemed to blend in with the golden part of the dress… She ends up looking weird.
